I am pleased that Virginia has the privilege of hosting the 2024 Southern Association of State Departments of Agriculture (SASDA) Annual Meeting in Williamsburg Va., June 16-18, 2024, with optional activities on June 15th and 19th.  From the Chesapeake Bay to the Appalachian Highlands, with a long Atlantic coastline and the Blue Ridge Mountains, Virginia is for Lovers, and everyone can find something to love about Virginia. Whether you’re a summer beach lounger, a fall mountain hiker, a poolside wine sipper, or a rooftop oyster slurper, you will love Virginia.

 

My team and I are planning a tremendous conference that will include nationally known speakers, great educational opportunities, and unique tours that will highlight the very best in Virginia agriculture, from over 400 years of history, through the present, and looking toward the future. We will also enjoy some of the best locally grown foods, beverages, and other products Virginia farmers have to offer.
